Is there a God?

Does He REALLY exist?

Does He care about me, personally?

These are all valid questions! At Bartlett Baptist Church we value these types of questions and look to the Bible (which we think is God's way of communicating to us) for valid answers - answers that are relevant to your life and mine.

For example, one young boy asked me once, "Does God have e mail?" My answer was "yes and no." A God who created the universe and all the various forms of communication available to us doesn't NEED e-mail to get His messages or respond to them. He can hear our thoughts and even hears our whispers. But in a real sense He does have a "type" of e-mail - it is called prayer. The Bible says, "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done" (Philippians 4:6 NLT). God promises to answer every e-mail/prayer we send to Him.

We want this to be a place where you can "check out God" at your own pace, while feeling free to ask your questions in a safe environment. As a matter of fact, we even have an ASK THE PASTOR night where any and all questions will be given a Biblical answer.

If you would like to know how you can begin a personal relationship with a God who enjoys getting prayer-based e mails; then contact us and we'll tell you how - no strings attached.
